Ishita founded and leads nlight from Dhaka, working across workplace interiors, public parks, community buildings and hospitality. She stays with a project from the first sketch through to briefing the craftsmen on site, which is why the studio’s process is written down so plainly.

Ishita Rahman took part as a Women in Construction Ambassador, joining the WIC networking programme and the conference sessions on diversity and the future of the industry.

Practice exhibition took place from 16 to 25 August 2026 in a celebration for 25 years of Inspiring Excellence of BRAC university with students and Alumni works organized by School of Design and Architecture where Ishita took part as an alumni. Entries including Children’s Park proposal at Mymensingh, Bangladesh (2025) and a Corporate office , Dhaka, Bangladesh completed in 2025 both by nLight Design and proposal for Climate Center at Governors Island, New York, USA which was a collective endeavour by Climate Center Consortium led by The New School and CUNY where Ishita worked in Phase 1 of the proposal as a Research Assistant in 2021 with The New School at Tishman Environment and Design Center, New York.

Our design team reviews your requirements, carries out initial research and develops a tailored project approach and proposal.
Signing the work order starts Phase 1, and the four phases below begin.
The professional fee is divided into four slots tied to real milestones. Select a phase to see what it delivers.
Site supervision. The 5% covers every visit across the design phases (Phase 1 and Phase 2). Conveyance is added per visit.
Quality assurance. The 10% in Phase 3 covers site supervision plus additional quality-assurance work. Conveyance is added per visit.
